This amazing little fish only reaches about 4cm maximum size. They can live happily in full sea water or completely fresh water. We have collected brood fish from fast flowing streams well into the mountains in South Queensland. We have also collected the same species in full sea water in the Bundaberg area.
Our fish are all produced in open freshwater ponds. freshwater weed beds are used to provide spawning sites and safe have for the newly hatched larvae and developing fry.
